PL | Branża brokerów ubezpieczeniowych fascynowała mnie od zawsze. W wieku dwudziestuiluś lat pracowałam, krótko, w biurze mojego wujka. Bawiłam się w bycie dorosłą. Wtedy dorosłość wydawała mi się czymś bardzo odległym. Dziś – czymś fikcyjnym i niedostępnym.
ENG | I’ve always been fascinated with the life insurance broker business. In my 20’s I worked briefly at my uncle’s bureau. I was playing to be an adult. Adulthood felt so far away then, now it just feels fictional, inaccessible.

PL | Wynędzniała obsada porannego telewizyjnego show na planie programu przywodzącego na myśl pokład przestarzałego statku-widmo. Nikt nie jest pewien, czy jesteśmy na żywo, czy tworzymy program dla dzieci i czy to, co robimy w ogóle jest telewizją. Plan stopniowo ogarnia „gęsty klimat porażki” i wciąga wszystkich w wir o paranormalnych proporcjach.
ENG | A haggard morning TV cast cruises on an outdated ghost ship of a show, unsure of whether they’re live, if it’s a show for kids or if what they’re doing is in fact television. The set slowly gets permeated with “the dense vibe of failure” and begins to draw everyone into a vortex of paranormal proportions.

CANDELARIA SAENZ VALIENTE
PL | Candelaria Saenz Valiente urodziła się w Buenos Aires, obecnie mieszka w Berlinie. Zajmuje się muzyką, pisaniem i tworzeniem filmów. Pilna uczennica od dziecka: od 8 roku życia uczyła się śpiewu, filmu na Universidad del Cine w Buenos Aires, aranżacji i kompozycji w Berklee College of Music w Bostonie, kreatywnego pisania… Kiedyś autorka piosenek i szalona frontwoman koncertującego po całym świecie zespołu Paristetris. Twórczyni prezentowanej m. in. na poznańskiej Malcie monumentalnej instalacji „La sensación de ser Mr. Luxus Reinstaldt”, autorka dwóch książek: powieści „El Infierno de Orfeo Blaumont” i zbioru opowiadań „Huesped Huesped”. Lubi wymyślać rzeczy – jednym z jej wynalazków jest Ebertonium Candidus, analogowy syntezator wykorzystujący dźwięk żarówek. Napisała i wyreżyserowała pilotażowy odcinek telewizyjnej komedii „Good morning! The morning show”. Kompozytorka filmowa (m. in. „Vermehlo Russo” i „Obce Niebo”), autorka operetki „Putanek Fest” i muzyki do „Golema” Anny Smolar. Twórczyni „Into the deep and sleepless night” – prezentowanego na festiwalu Fama performansu na chór. Występuje jako Pictorial Candi. Ongiś math punk rockerka, dziś zakorzeniona w prog i krautrocku nieszablonowa gitarzystka lo-fi i trubadurka dream popu. Hipnotyczna performerka, dzika tancerka, akrobatyczna wokalistka i stand-uperka najbrudniejszego czarnego humoru. Jako Pictorial Candi wydała 4 płyty: „Eat your Coney Island”, „Drink” (płyta w formie produkowanego i butelkowanego w podwórku przez samą Candi napoju gazowanego) „Forever till you die” i „Secret Salts”. Reżyserka teledysków do własnych utworów, m. in. „Star Gel”, „Rhoda”, „Dead Teens” czy „Got things to do (Portrait of an artist as an insurance salesman)”.
ENG | Candelaria Saenz Valiente was born in Buenos Aires and now lives in Berlin. She is a musician, writer and filmmaker. She studied hard throughout her life: voice, since she was 8, film at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, arranging and composition in Berklee College of Music in Boston, creative writing… She was the songwriter and crazy front woman of the Polish band Paristetris with whom she toured the world. She’s the author of a monumentally large performance installation called La sensación de ser Mr. Luxus Reinstaldt and is the published author of a novel and a book of short fiction. Candi likes to invent things, her latest invention, the Ebertonium Candidus, is an analog synthesizer that amplifies the sounds of light bulbs, which in turn can be altered and pitch bent. She has written, directed and starred in a pilot for a comedy tv show called “Good morning! The morning show” which is currently in post-production. She has made the filmscores to the full length films “Vermehlo Russo” and “Obce Niebo”; wrote and composed the libretto and music to the Operetta “Putanek Fest”; wrote, made music and performed in “Golem” directed by Anna Smolar; made music and directed the choir performance “Into the deep and sleepless night” performed at Fama Festival, Poland. Her stage name is Pictorial Candi. A once math punk rocker turned off-kilter lo-fi guitarrist turned dream pop troubadour, Candi is always holding onto prog and krautrock, even under all the rich synthy scapes. A hypnotic performer, wild dancer, an acrobatic singer and a stand up comedian of the filthiest dark humor. As Pictorial Candi she’s released four LP albums Eat your Coney Island, Drink (an album in the shape of a fizzy drink in two flavors which she produced and carbonated by herself in her backyard), Forever till you die and Secret Salts. Among various other videoclips, she’s directed Star Gel, Rhoda, Dead Teens and Got things to do (Portrait of an artist as an insurance salesman).
