ARCHITECTURAL ACCESSIBILITY
The staircase is not suitable for people with mobility issues and wheelchairs due to the heavy doors and stairs leading up to the lift. We are located on the first floor. If you want to participate in one of our events and this is an obstacle for you, please contact us. We will do our best to provide a wheelchair stair climber or alternative online access. Please contact us by phone, e-mail or via the form at least 5 working days before the event.
There are no architectural barriers in the premises of Jasna 10 itself. Work is underway to adapt the toilet to the needs of people in wheelchairs.
ENTRANCE TO THE BUILDING
To reach the premises, enter the gate on ul. Jasna 10, ring number 3 through the intercom at the second door on the right and go up the stairs or take the lift (width 60 cm) to the first floor. There are couple of steps and double swing doors leading to the lift and further part of the staircase. The door to the premises is located on the left side of the stairs and exit from the lift.
HOW TO REACH US
BY BIKE:
There are bicycle racks in the courtyard of the tenement building.
BY CAR:
On ul. Henryka Sienkiewicza 2, 35 metres from the entrance to the building, there are parking spaces, including two for vehicles of people with a disability certificate.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
Metro lines I and II — Świętokrzyska station (go to the Jasna exit), the lift is adapted to the needs of people in wheelchairs. Then go 300 m straight on ul. Świętokrzyska and turn right onto ul. Jasna.

ASSISTANCE
At Jasna 10: The Social Institution of Culture of Krytyka Polityczna all staff went through training to be able to support you. If you need anything during an event at our headquarters, please report it to the person who will be working at the reception desk at that time.
POLISH SIGN LANGUAGE (PJM)
We encourage you to contact us using Polish Sign Language. Send an e-mail to: [email protected] and arrange a video call with us.
We translate a portion of the programme into Polish Sign Language. In response to your report, we can also try to do so for other events.
HEARING LOOP
We always have a hearing loop installed during events. It will work no matter where you sit.
NEURODIVERSITY
We have soundproofing earmuffs at the reception desk. If you expect to use them, please contact us at least 5 working days before the event. We want to make sure we can provide the right number of earmuffs.
FURNITURE
Seats for the audience consist of chairs and couches. The seats of the chairs are 34 cm, 48 cm, and the couches are 110 cm.
ASSISTANCE DOG
Our premises are open to people with an assistance dog.
TOILET
In the toilet there is a Pink Box with menstrual products, a changing table and toilet steps, as well as a toilet overlay that makes it easier to sit down and get up. The toilet is not adapted to the needs of people in wheelchairs.
DIGITAL ACCESSIBILITY
Jasna 10: The Social Institution of Culture of Krytyka Polityczna in Warsaw has a website adapted to electronic readers and high contrast. The website meets the standards of digital accessibility WCAG 2.1 (audit from 2022). The declaration applies to the website https://warszawa.krytykapolityczna.pl/.
We also use accessible forms of recruitment for events: by phone or through the recruitment form. When recruiting, participants of events can report their needs related to accessibility.
OTHER INFORMATION AND DECLARATIONS
Jasna 10: The Social Institution of Culture of Krytyka Polityczna in Warsaw declares that it is currently implementing a project to adapt the toilet in the premises to the needs of people with special needs, place Totupoint markers on the way to the building and in the staircase, as well as draw up a typhlographic plan for the premises.
